Shaq Goodwin had 23 points and 11 rebounds as Memphis dominated Temple. The Tigers out-rebounded the Owls 45-28 and outscored them 42-26 in the paint. Memphis turned 16 offensive boards into 17 second-chance points.

Down four early in the second half, Pastner’s Tigers used a 17-6 run lasting nearly seven minutes to finally pull away from Temple, 79-69 on Saturday, and successfully follow up their win at No. 12 Louisville on Thursday.

Memphis (12-3, 3-1 American) is only the second ranked team to win at Temple (5-9, 0-3) in the past six seasons. Then No. 1 Kansas topped the Owls in the 2009-10 season. Memphis returns to action at home Thursday against UCONN. 6PM (CT)
