Day 1 and Day 2 of Workouts

Just finished up Day 2 of small group workouts.

We had three groups of four each workout for an hour on Saturday and an hour on Sunday.

Group 1 – Joe Jackson, Chris Crawford, Charles Carmouche, and Antonio Barton
Group 2 – Wesley Witherspoon, Will Barton, Adonis Thomas, and Drew Barham
Group 3 – Tarik Black, D.J. Stephens, Ferrakohn Hall, and Hippolyte Tsafack

Workouts resume on Monday.

Pastner Goes Pink to Fight Breast Cancer

University of Memphis Men’s Basketball Head Coach, Josh Pastner, will serve as the 2011 Honorary Chair for the 19th Annual Susan G. Komen Memphis-MidSouth Race for the Cure.

Coach Pastner will attend the Memphis-MidSouth Race for the Cure and serve as Master of Ceremonies at Race kick-off. In addition, Coach Pastner has a Race team and is encouraging Mid-Southerners to join him in the fight against breast cancer. “It’s a privilege to serve as honorary chair of Komen Memphis-MidSouth Race for the Cure,” says University of Memphis Men’s Basketball Head Coach, Josh Pastner. “Breast cancer is a disease that affects so many lives – the victims, their families and friends. Anything that helps funding for research and, more importantly, brings awareness to find a cure for breast cancer is a worthy cause that I’m proud to be a part of!” Coach Pastner’s team name is Pastner Goes Pink for the Cure and joining his team is open to the public.
