ESPN and Infiniti’s annual Coaches’ Charity Challenge allows fans to have a hand in which coach will win the $100,000 for their charity. The first round of competition will cover the next six weeks and will determine the four semifinalists, who will then compete for the crown. The winning coach will be announced on March 11, 2013. The 48 coaches have been split into four regions of 12 for the first round of competition, with the four winners of each region moving on to the semifinals.

Memphis men’s basketball head coach Josh Pastner is one of 48 college basketball coaches who will be participating in the “Coaches’ Charity Challenge.” Pastner will be representing Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in the charity event. Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital is a not-for-profit medical center that annually treats over 135,000 children. Located in the heart of the Memphis Medical Center, Le Bonheur has one of the busiest pediatric emergency departments in the country.
